Nelson Luis Saldanha da Fonseca

Full Professor and Head of Computer Systems Department, University of Campinas

Nelson Luis Saldanha da Fonseca received his Electrical Engineering (1984) and MSc in Computer Science (1987) degrees from The Pontificial Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and MSc (1993) and PhD (1994) degrees in Computer Engineering from The University of Southern California. He received the title of “Livre Docente” in Computer Networks from the University of Campinas in 1999. He is a Full Professor at the Institute of Computing of the University of Campinas, Brazil, and has been affiliated to it since 1995. Currently, He is Head of the Computer Systems Department.
